Client-Centered Therapy is a foundational approach to mental wellness. This therapy emphasizes the healing power of the relationship between counsellor and client. Through empathy, deep listening, care, non-judgment, acceptance, and authenticity, a Client-Centered therapist offers clients an ideal context in order to explore difficult struggles. Recently, research into the effectiveness of counselling has theorized that for any therapy to be effective, these qualities must be present in the counselling relationship. Thus, Client-Centered techniques are always a part of my work with clients
